The whole west coast in one run — Câmara de Lobos, the drone up at Cabo Girão, swimming and paddle at Fajã dos Padres, and a flat-out ride home.
Out of Marina do Funchal and straight west. First Câmara de Lobos, the fishing village Churchill sat down to paint, then out under Cabo Girão — 580 metres of basalt falling into the Atlantic. That's where the drone goes up and the drinks and food come out.
Then the good part: we anchor at Fajã dos Padres, a strip of terraced coast with no road in, and you get in — jump off the boat, swim, take the paddle boards out. A second swim stop at Ribeira Brava, then the throttle goes down for the run back to Funchal.
See the two optionsBoth run inside either slot — 10:00–13:00 or 14:00–17:00. Same stops, same swimming; the 3h simply goes further and comes with a filmed video.
Two water stops — Fajã dos Padres and Ribeira Brava — with paddle boards aboard.
We fly the drone over the boat at Cabo Girão and send you the footage after. The 3h adds a filmed video too.
Served under Cabo Girão, included in the price on both options.
A ribbon of terraced land at the foot of a 300-metre cliff, farmed since the 1500s and still reachable only by boat or by a single cable car. From the sea the water goes glass-clear over the stones — which is exactly why we anchor here and let you jump in.
Paddle boards come off the deck, the swimmers go over the side, and the boat sits with the cliff wall going straight up behind it. Nowhere else on Madeira's south coast feels this far from a road.
Timings shown for the 10:00 slot — the 14:00 slot runs the same, four hours later.
Meet your skipper on the pontoon and head west along the city waterfront.
Painted fishing boats in the bay Churchill came to paint in 1950.
580 metres of cliff straight out of the sea. Drinks and food come out on deck while the drone flies.
Anchor under the terraces. Jump off the boat, swim, take the paddle boards out.
Back in the water off the Ribeira Brava seafront before we turn.
Further west to the Ponta do Sol waterfront — and the stretch we film your video on.
Open water, spray flying, back on the pontoon in Funchal.
Two slots a day from Marina do Funchal: 10:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:00. Pick the 2h30 or the 3h inside whichever slot suits you. Arrive about 15 minutes early.
The 2h30 (€500) runs Câmara de Lobos, Cabo Girão, Fajã dos Padres and turns at Ribeira Brava. The 3h (€600) carries on to Ponta do Sol and includes a filmed video of your trip on top of the drone footage.
At Fajã dos Padres — the cove under the cliffs with no road in — and again at Ribeira Brava. Paddle boards come out at the Fajã dos Padres stop.
Drinks and food aboard, drone footage at Cabo Girão, paddle boards, the private boat for up to 5 guests and a local skipper. The 3h option also includes a filmed video. One flat price for the boat — not per person.
Up to 5 guests, and the boat is yours alone — never shared with another group. The price is the same flat rate whether you're two or five.
Yes — the sunset trip follows the same coast at 18:30, but without the swimming and paddle: by then the water is too cold to enjoy.
Check live dates and reserve your private trip in a couple of minutes — your group only, from €500.
